Focus and scope
The CSSN Digital Scientific Journal is a publication vehicle for original research papers, reviews, and other academic contributions related to the areas of health, food and nutrition, and food and food technology. These are approached from a multidisciplinary perspective, integrating knowledge of public health, clinical nutrition, dietetics, food safety, food development and evaluation, and applied technological processes.
The editorial team, comprised of professionals specialising in these domains, ensures the thematic relevance and scientific rigour of the publications. The journal accepts for publication manuscripts in Spanish or English, which are intended for researchers, professionals, postgraduate students and public policy makers engaged in health, nutrition and food production.
Contributions in the form of research results, case studies, literature reviews, meta-analyses, qualitative analyses, and brief communications will be considered, provided they meet the requisite scientific and ethical standards. The primary objective of CSSN is the dissemination of knowledge that contributes to the well-being and quality of life of communities. In pursuit of this objective, the organisation promotes academic dialogue and cooperation between national and international researchers. The publication is open access and adheres to the principles of free dissemination of knowledge under a Creative Commons licence (CC BY-NC).
Frecuencia de publicación
CSSN se publica dos veces al año, Edición Enero-junio y Julio-diciembre; sin embargo, los artículos pueden ser enviados para su revisión durante todo el año.
Frequency of publication
CSSN is published twice a year, January-June and July-December editions; however, articles may be submitted for review throughout the year.
Cargos/Costo
la revista está disponible de forma libre sin ningún tipo de cargo económico para el usuario o su institución. Los usuarios pueden leer, descargar, copiar, distribuir, imprimir, buscar o acceder al texto completo de los artículos, sin pedir permiso a los autores o a la revista siempre y cuando sean citados correctamente.
Charges/Cost
The journal is freely available to users, with no financial charges applied to either the individual or their institution. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or access the full text of articles without the need for prior permission from the authors or the journal, provided that appropriate citation practices are followed.
