Cuestionario para el estudio de las necesidades educativas en salud sexual y reproductiva de estudiantes universitarios

Resumen

Introducción: Contar con instrumentos para evaluar la salud sexual y reproductiva de estudiantes universitarios es un objetivo de la comunidad científica Objetivo: Construir y validar un cuestionario para el estudio de necesidades de educación sexual de universitarios. Métodos: Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica sobre los fundamentos teóricos que relacionan la Promoción de la Salud y la Salud Sexual y Reproductiva, se operacionalizaron las variables de estudio de acuerdo a las fases del modelo PRECEDE-PROCEDE, se construyó la primera versión del cuestionario, se validó el contenido y validez por criterio de expertos, además, fue sometido a un pilotaje; se hicieron las modificaciones y ajustes pertinentes y se elaboró la versión final del cuestionario que se aplicó en dos grupos de estudiantes universitarios. Resultados: Se creó un cuestionario para investigar las necesidades educativas en Salud Sexual y Reproductiva, en base al ajuste del modelo en la etapa PRECEDE, la fase I, corresponde a un diagnóstico social, de representaciones socioculturales en sexualidad; en la fase II, un diagnóstico de características demográficas y epidemiológicas de los problemas de la Salud Sexual y Reproductiva; la fase III, corresponde al diagnóstico de comportamiento y estilos de vida sexuales y reproductivos; en la fase IV, permite realizar un diagnóstico educacional, de factores predisponentes, facilitadores o favorecedores y de refuerzo de comportamientos sexuales. Conclusiones: La adherencia al modelo en su fase PRECEDE, permitió un acercamiento integral al problema de estudio, al realizar tal y como recomienda una secuencia diagnóstica social, epidemiológica, conductual, de estilos de vida y educativa.

Abstract

Introduction: Having available instruments to evaluate the sexual and reproductive health of university students is an objective of the scientific community. Objective: To build and validate a questionnaire to study the sexual education needs of

university students. Methods: A bibliographic review was carried out about the theoretical theoretical fundament relate Health Promotion and Sexual and Reproductive Health, the study variables were operationalized according to the phases of the PRECEDE-PROCEDE model, the first version of the questionnaire was constructed, the content and validity were validated by expert criteria, in addition, it was subjected to a pilot test; the pertinent modifications and adjustments were made and the final version of the questionnaire was developed and applied to two groups of university students. Results: A questionnaire was created to investigate the Sexual and Reproductive Health educational needs, based on the adjustment model in the PRECEDE stage, phase I corresponds to a social diagnosis of sociocultural representations in sexuality; in phase II, a demographic and epidemiological characteristics diagnosis of the Sexual and Reproductive Health problems; Phase III corresponds to a behavior and sexual and reproductive lifestyles diagnosis; in phase IV, allows to perform an educational diagnosis about predisposing, facilitating or favoring factors and reinforcement of sexual behaviors. Conclusions: The adherence to the model in PRECEDE phase allowed a comprehensive approach to the study problem, by carrying out a social, epidemiological, behavioral, lifestyle and educational diagnostic sequence as recommended.
