Abstract

Introduction. Vaccines for Covid 19 are one of the best strategies to prevent both the presentation of this disease and its probable complications. Methodology. A clinical question has been used under the PICO format to search for information.  Have been reviewed Virtual scientific libraries such as Cochrane, Biblioteca Virtual en Salud, EBSCO, Pub Med, ACCESSSS, Elsevier, Medline, National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in addition to scientific information search engines such as UptoDate, DynaMed, Mendeley, Google Scholar, to find the best available evidence on vaccines for Covid 19. Those articles that meet the proposed inclusion criteria have been chosen, then all the scientific articles have been analyzed to acquire the most relevant information and with the best evidence for the creation of this review. Results. 49 scientific articles that meet all the proposed criteria have been found. Discussion. COVID 19 is a pathology that has caused one of the greatest global health, economic and social tragedies and decimated a large part of humanity, and the administration of vaccines against this disease is one of the best strategies. Conclusions. The administration of vaccines against COVID 19 has reduced the spread and the probable complications that this pathology can trigger, and the use in pregnant women and children is an alternative that could be used according to the current evidence for their better protection
